This bathroom was in need of a facelift, but there was only enough room in the budget for a facial. The best thing you can do to inexpensively spruce up a room is paint it.
The walls have been painted “Slip” by Benjamin Moore. The bathroom door has been painted with black semi gloss. On top of the walls, I drew a design using Sharpie Oil Based Paint Markers. The tutorial for the design can be found here.
Honestly, it wasn’t very easy! If you don’t have a steady hand, you’re not great with a ruler/level, and you are a perfectionist…I would not recommend this project! But if you have those skills, go for it! You can always paint over it if it doesn't work out!
Total Cost: Less than $60 dollars!
